Let's Play Ball

Finally, baseball season has begun and I am so excited!! It will be very busy but that is okay! Last night was opening ceremonies. It is held every year at Memorial Stadium. All the teams were announced as the boys ran across the field.

The 1st picture we have of the Reeves/Curtis boys began with just Cade and Will. Look at them all now!!

Every year we take a picture of the Reeves, Curtis, Jefcoat's and Stallworth's. This year the Dunn's were finally added to the picture as Benton is finally old enough to play t-ball!!

All the boys were so excited to play today. All 3 of them played great! Will and Drew played at the same time so since Jason is one of Will's coaches, I went to Drew's game and Jason was at Will's of course. Drew played 3rd base and made an awesome play. He stopped at grounder to 3rd and threw it to 1st to get the runner out!! He has one heck of an arm on him! All three times up to bat he got a hit. 2 of them to the outfield and another infield which got him out at 1st. He plays on the Phillies with he best friend Cole and 2 of his best friends from Pre-school, Ty and Payne. He was so excited! They won their game!

Will plays for the Astros. He got one good hit but got out at 1st and then struck out twice. One of his best friends struck him out his last at bat and he was pretty bummed out about that but Jason said he played great defense! They lost but that is okay. He his playing with another one of his best friends Brock. They have been on the same team since t-ball!! I don't have pictures of Will playing since I wasn't there. I am hoping Liz or Tracie got some and when I get them I will post them!!

Ben finally is out of t-ball!! He moved up to farm league this year and it is coach pitch. He got 3 great hits and played great in the outfield. He played 2nd base. He drove in a lot of runs when he hit and scored all 3 times he bat. His team is the Red Sox and he got his 1st win today too!! He told me after the game that he was pretty good at the Farm league ball!! He and Walker are on the same team this year and Brett is their coach!!
