Guess who is back...

Our bird!!! If you are new to my blog go back to July 14, 2008 to get the first part of the story. Anyway, I opened the door tonight to get something my dad left on the doorstep and in flew the bird. It is a good thing Jason was walking by and saw it because I did not. That would have been very bad tonight when everyone was asleep. The bird flew in then on in to the living room, to the dining room, den, back the the dining room, then living room again, the laundry room and all back over again. Finally, he made it to the wall in the foyer flew to the floor by the door and then out he went. This time I remembered to get my camera! I guess it is time to get an arrangement that a bird can't make a nest in!!

One Busy Weekend!

I must say all week I was dreading this weekend. Our Saturday was filled from the time we got up to near time we went to bed. Will and Drew had their last soccer game at 10am then End of Season soccer party after that. At 12 noon, we had Ben's End of Season soccer party and then at 2pm Ben had a birthday party to go to and at 3pm Drew had a birthday party. Thank God for Liz and Brett, they got everything to the soccer party for me since we were in charge of it and Jason was at work and I was with Will and Drew. Also, thanks to Tracie for getting Drew to his afternoon party. On top of all of that it was Jason's Grandmother and Daddy's birthday. Yes, Grady was born on his mother's birthday. We at least celebrated these on Friday and Sunday so that was one less thing we had to do on Saturday because you know everything had to be done by 6:30pm. It is the biggest Saturday of October, Alabama vs Tennessee. We had to be in front of a TV by then!! It all didn't stop on Saturday, Sunday was Children's Sabbath at Church. Will was an usher and Drew and Ben were greeters. This year we also had a cradle roll so Baby Kate was introduced during Church. Will also received a Children's Bible. All 2nd graders are presented this bible from the Blount Family in memory of their father. He was so excited. Sunday afternoon, Ben had birthday #2 for the weekend. It really was a great weekend. I wish I had not stressed out so about it. Hope you all have a great week!

Will getting his trophy, sorry the picture is not so great!

This was the cake for Ben's Soccer Party. One of his team mate's mom made it. It looked just like their jersey! It not only looks great, It tasted good too!!!

Lacey also joined the church today at the conclusion of her confirmation class. I am so proud of her!

Who said girls get into to less?

Kate is only 11 months old and can I say she gets into EVERYTHING!! I do not remember the boys getting into near as much as her and I thought girls didn't bother your stuff. Yesterday morning she turned and Rubbermaid box over and then pushed it up to the table in my room. She then stood on it so she could pull everything off the top! She pulls things off the end tables in the den, pulls everything out from under the cabinet which has finally been locked and if you leave the bathroom door open she is going straight for the toilet. Gross!! Anyway, I happened to have my camera right next to me and snapped her picture yesterday. What an I going to do with her?

Beach Pictures!

We took the kids out to the beach for some pictures right before the rain last night. I have to say I got some pretty good pictures. I took some of the boys 2 years ago and use them over my mantle with my Christmas decorations. Since we have baby Kate I had to get some new ones. The boys were threatened with an early bedtime if they did not do well! I guess it worked!! Enjoy!

Kate is 11 months old!!

One more month and our baby girl is 1 year old. Today Kate is 11 months old. We celebrated at the beach. We ate a delicious lunch at Geno's...best burger on the beach by the way!!! Then we went to the Wharf shopping. We got her a birthday princess hat for her birthday next month and some sweet smelling baby shampoo! Then we all went to Build a Bear and everybody got a bear. I didn't realize it until we were in there that Drew and Ben had never built a bear there. Will hadn't really either. He was just a baby when he built his 1st bear. They have Build a Bears but I had always done them for them and then given them to them. They had a really fun time. Will built a Football playing Dog and named him Big Papa, Drew built a military dog named Poppy and Ben built a basketball playing dog, his name is Rufus! Kate built a pink bear in a tinkerbell costume and her name in Pinkerbell!! We had a good time celebrating Kate's 11 month birthday.

Happy Birthday Gramps!

Today is Jason's granddaddy's birthday. I am not really sure how old he is and it doesn't really matter. He is the most wonderful man and amazes me at everything he still does. I guess that is what keeps him so "young". We are so thankful to have him in our lives. They boys absolutely adore him and Kate does too! Jason is so lucky to be 36 years old and still have all 4 of is grandparents. We Love you Gramps, Grandaddy, Monk!!! Hope you had a great day!!

It's October and we are swimming!!!

It is fall break and we are in Orange Beach! If you have read my sister's blog (Life in the Fast Lane) you know that Deeda finally broke down and put in a pool at the beach!! It just recently was finished and we have been waiting to get down here to see it. Well, it is beautiful and the boys just had to try it out. It was a little cool but they had a ball. Kate sat in her swing but could not stand it anymore. I let her put her feet it and she loved it. We ended up going inside and putting her in a swim diaper because I did not bring her a swim suit! We are going to have to get her swimming lessons soon. She LOVES the water. She would crawl out and then crawl right back to the edge of the pool! To Deeda, Thanks a million for the pool... WE LOVE IT and WE LOVE YOU!!!

Pumpkin Patch

Today we took our annual trip to the pumpkin patch in Clanton, AL. It was a beautiful day and perfect for Kate and Daddy's 1st trip!! There are so many things to do at the pumpkin patch besides picking pumpkins.
Our first stop was the inflatable village. It has 2 giant slides, an obstacle course and a bouncer. Drew was the only child I could get coming down the giant slide. They came down so fast!
Ben stopped long enough just for me to snag his picture going through the obstacle course.
Kate and Hayes enjoyed getting out of their strollers and crawling around on the "fake" grass!
Our next stop was the pony ride. Will decided not to ride the pony, he said he would probably break their back!!
Ben and Drew really enjoyed the ponies!
This year The Stallworth's minus Lacey, The Jefcoat's, The Dunn's and The Curtis' joined us. There were 14 children in all and only 3 of them were girls. This is the best shot I could get of all of them. The Dunn girls couldn't decide where to sit and Drew couldn't be still!!
Next was the Tractor Train Ride. This was another activity Will decided not to do. He and Cade went to the Country Store to Shop! In this picture is Drew and Cole.
Bringing up the rear of the train ride were Walker, Press, Payne, Ben and Miles. This is the cheapest activity there. It was only $1!!
Finally, it was time to load the Huge Hayride to the Pumpkin Patch to pick our pumpkins. Here is our family.
The boys get the best spot on the hayride!
We usually go toward the end of the month and the pumpkins are so picked over. It was much better today. The boys were all over the place looking for the best pumpkin.
Drew found his first!
All of these pumpkins were perfect for Kate. She thought they were so neat!

For a minute we had thought we had lost Ben in all the vines but he finally appeared with his pumpkin next!
Will walked nearly over every row and finally found a pumpkin. He was tired by the time he found it!
After everyone found their pumpkin and played on the huge hay bales it was time to load the tractor hayride back to the barn for a much needed snack.

I love cotton candy and so did Kate. She had her 1st taste of it today!
We had a blast and I hope you enjoyed our pictures!!
