Homerun Saturday

This season we don't have many Saturday games but today we had 2! Ben played at 9:00. His team the Phillies played the Rays. We started off on fire! Ben got a great hit his first at bat and did well at pitcher. His next at bat he hit his 1st in the park home run!! He was so excited. He had a great game but the team got a little sluggish and the Rays came back but we were able to hold them! We won 10-8, we are still undefeated!! Kate had a great time playing with Kate Nelson!

Will and Drew had a game at 10:45. It was so hot. Will started off the game pitching and again did great! He is so on this year! We played the Red Sox and one of his best friends plays on that team. Drew started in left field and did great too. Drew lost his right contact lens and we didn't have another one. He got up to bat and stuck out. He bats 2nd and Will Bats 3rd. Will got up to bat and hit a double. We scored 4 in the 1st inning. Drew's 2nd up to bat he hit a single and Will came up to bat and as he was at the plate Ben came running up to me to tell me he pulled his tooth and then I heard that sound, turned around and saw Will's ball fly over the fence. Right between the score board and the World Series sign. It was beautiful! It was is 2nd out of the park home run but 1st on that field! One of his best friends, Cody pitched it to him. Cody said he pitched it right where he knew Will liked them!
Will moved to catcher and Drew to 3rd base. Their 3rd at bat Drew walked and Will doubled. We got our 1st win, 10-7! It was a great day at the ballpark!
