Homerun for Will

Today Will's Travel Baseball Team, Troy Thunder, played in a tournament in Enterprise. We are in a 9-under group but our group didn't make so we moved up to the 10-under group. Our 1st game this morning was at 8 and we played the Enterprise Wildcats. We were down by 13 and we came up to bat. Finally our bats were hitting and we scored 3 more runs. Will came up to bat in the last inning. He had 2 strikes on him with 2 outs, pitch is thrown, Will makes contact and over the fence it flew!! I was jumping up and down and screaming, didn't even think to get my camera out. He needed that so badly. He has been in a hitting slump in rec ball this year. It has been a difficult transition from pitching machine to kid pitch! His coaches wife, Tracie, told me that she and Chris decided this was Will's year to hit one over and she was right!! We are so proud of him!! I think he is still on cloud 9!! I hope it is the 1st of many more to come!!
