Our Evening on the 4th

Well, I thing this was the 1st 4th of July in 6 years that it did not rain on us. We had a great afternoon and a pretty fun night. Deeda fixed his yummy ribs and then our cool Auntie Amy made volcano's with us in the sand. A little baking soda and vinegar inside a sand castle with a hole in the middle of it sure makes a cool volcano. They made one big one and then all 4 boys (Will, Drew, Ben and their cousin Walker) made their own.
Kate watches as they build their volcanoes

After we made our volcano it was time for fishing. We didn't catch anything but we had fun. We got to sit on the dock and see some awesome fireworks. Some people from across the river were having a big party and they had their own firework show. It was pretty big for it to not be a public show. I tried to get some pictures but my camera was not that nice!

We had a great 4th of July and we hope you all did too! God Bless America!!
